Advisor firm licensing

Walk in able to say something specific about their plan.

Most pitches lead with somebody else’s case study. Licensed firms lead with a read on the prospect’s own market, priced from rates insurers are required to publish. You keep the client and the strategy. We supply the analysis underneath, and we take nothing from a carrier.

A channel-partner model. You keep the client relationship; the platform makes it stronger. We power the tool underneath.
Licensing

Firm-wide access, and no economic interest for you to disclose.

Sized to your firm.

Simple Healthcare licenses at the firm level, priced by firm size. Your firm receives a discount that passes directly to your employer clients, positioning your firm as a clean fiduciary in the plan, with no conflicting economic interest with the platform vendor. Talk to our channel team about scope and terms.
Why firms license the platform

Validated in beta, and built to hold up to fiduciary scrutiny.

Empirically validated

$54M identified across four beta engagements.

Four self-insured plan sponsors, from small to large, with $426M of combined annual spend. We identified $54M in potential savings, or 13% of the total, without touching network access. All four had something in them. The best result, 21.6% of plan spend, needed no carrier switch at all: it came from repricing, site of service and reference pricing.

Evidence your client can hand over

Built to be handed to a reviewer.

Peer-reviewable methodology that holds up well past the committee meeting. Every number traceable to a published source your client can put in front of anyone who asks.

One screen, both sides of the table

Your producers open the same screen the CHRO does.

Carriers compared, levers priced in dollars, and the risks flagged before anyone acts. When a client asks where a number came from, the answer is on the screen rather than back at the office.

Walk the product

See what you would put in front of a client.

A guided walkthrough of the screens your producers would use in the room, the plan overview, the cost levers, the ranked actions, and the math behind every number.

Built on a synthetic population. No real employer’s plan or member data appears in the demo.

The Closing Argument

The prospect-comparison advantage.

Anyone can bring a case study about somebody else's plan. The firm that can say something specific about the prospect's own situation wins the room.

That’s what we put in your producers' hands. What it looks like depends on the account and on what the prospect is willing to share, so we scope it with your firm deal by deal. Come talk to us about the account you have in mind.

What you license

The Savings & Access Continuum, end to end.

Three tiers your firm can deliver inside existing client relationships, on one integrated, peer-reviewable methodology.

1Plan Level

Which carrier gives us the best cost and access?

Are we paying market? Does our population have the providers they need, where they live?

Simple Healthcare Search

Consumer-facing tool that helps members shop for care.

Members
supported at the point of care
$54M
Potential savings identified across four beta plan sponsors, 13% of $426M combined spend.
Beta figures reflect potential savings identified, opportunity, not guaranteed savings. Savings were identified in all four plans, carrier switching was just one lever among many.

Most tools live at one level. Simple Healthcare is the whole continuum.

Where the value comes from

The full value isn't just found savings.

The Continuum shows what your firm delivers at each tier. This is where the value comes from, and why three of four buckets pay off even when no measured savings are captured.

A
Find → Capture
$54M identified across four betas

Simple Healthcare Roadmap prices the levers, each one in dollars, against what the specialist vendors in that lane (Imagine360, 6 Degrees Health, AMPS and others) would actually be proposing. We name who operates there and take nothing from any of them. Simple Healthcare Search puts price and quality data into members' hands at the point of care decision, where dollars actually move.

B
Verification value
The receipts are the value

Even when a switch or renegotiation makes no dollar change, Roadmap documents why. Rate-evidence match rate, evidence grade per lever, calibration receipts. The “we checked and here's what we found” artifact a benefits committee can hand to a fiduciary reviewer without a follow-up meeting.

C
Fiduciary defensibility
The receipts

“How This Was Built” is one screen inside Roadmap. Every claim traced, every carrier compared, every rate priced from a real published record or a validated estimator. With the evidence share disclosed on every screen. Fiduciary defensibility earned with receipts, not asked for on faith.

D
Quiet wins
1–3% of medical spend

Showing the TPA an independent price file recovers concessions, even when the plan doesn't switch carriers, doesn't restructure, doesn't move a single member. The file itself is leverage.

Buckets B, C, and D exist whether or not measured savings are captured. That's why our fee isn't a share of savings. We price PEPM, structured to be independent of the outcomes we produce.

The platform

This is Roadmap's Overview, the whole plan graded tile by tile, each one a portal to the diagnostic behind it.

What licensed firms get

Firm-wide access, embed code, and more to bring every client.

01

Simple Healthcare Roadmap, the platform that prices every client's cost levers and ranks the actions.

Each lever priced in dollars, each risk flagged, and every execution path costed against what the vendors in that lane (Imagine360, 6 Degrees Health, AMPS) would be proposing, so your producers can hold a vendor’s pitch up against an independent number. Same product plan sponsors get on direct subscriptions, available to every producer at your firm.

02

Embed code for your branded microsite

When Search launches: co-branded consumer search for your firm and your clients. Licensed firms are first in line.

03

Prospect-comparison reports

An independent read on a prospect's market, framed for the prospect conversation. Scoped with your firm, account by account.

04

Producer enablement + technical support

Onboarding, methodology walkthroughs, and technical support so your team delivers from day one, not month six.

05

Inbound employers routed to you, not around you

Employers reach us directly all the time. If they have no advisor, licensed firms are who we introduce them to. If they already have one, we ask who it is before we go any further, and if it’s your firm, the conversation comes to you.

06

Platform pricing you can extend to clients

Your license unlocks a rate below the direct price for your plan sponsor clients. The employer pays Simple Healthcare directly, so nothing runs through your books.

07

Independent from carriers

We take no commissions and no overrides, and we don’t pay for referrals. Your producers can say that in the room and it holds up.

08

Clean fiduciary posture

Your firm receives a discount that passes directly to your employer client, positioning your firm as a fiduciary partner in the plan, with no conflicting economic interest with the platform vendor.

How we behave in your accounts

We sell direct. Here is where we stop.

Simple Healthcare sells to plan sponsors directly, and any firm evaluating a license is right to ask what that means for its book. These are the rules we operate by, and they go in the license agreement rather than staying on a web page.

Register your accounts

Licensed firms name the plan sponsors they hold. We don’t open a direct sales conversation in a registered account, and we don’t quote a direct rate into one.

Inbound goes to you

We ask every employer who reaches us who their advisor is, before anything else. If it’s your firm, the conversation is routed to you, not run past you and reported afterwards.

No verification behind your back

An independent read on work an incumbent advisor has already done is something a committee commissions in the open, with the advisor told. It isn’t a product we sell to unseat you.

Nothing runs through your books

Your client is billed by us directly at the licensed rate. No commissions, no overrides, no markup available to you, which is exactly what lets your producers say they have no economic interest in the platform.

The free market read is deliberately claims-free and deliberately shallow: it prices a public basket, and it doesn’t diagnose anyone’s plan. The work an advisor bills for starts after it.

The data behind the numbers

We connect published prices to real episodes of care.

The numbers your producers put in front of clients are built on real, observed prices, combined from the client’s de-identified claims, the negotiated rates insurers and hospitals are required to publish under federal transparency rules, Medicare and all-payer claims, and hundreds of additional data sources. We’ve been researching and publishing on healthcare price and quality transparency since 2012, a decade before the federal rules existed.

Why it’s different

Others clean the transparency files. Others compare carriers. We connect the negotiated rates insurers and hospitals must publish under federal law to the full episode of care, surgeon, facility, anesthesia, labs, follow-up. That’s what makes it possible to compare the levers that actually move cost: site of care, reference pricing, DRG repricing, direct contracting, and more. Without the full episode, you can’t.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Is this a fit for our firm size?

Licensing is priced by firm size, so it scales from mid-market advisor firms with a handful of producers up through national platforms. If you serve self-insured employers and want an independent analytic layer inside every client relationship, it's a fit. Book the channel-team call to size it for your firm.

Can we embed or white-label the tool?

Yes, when Search launches, licensed firms get a co-branded Simple Healthcare Searchfor your firm's site or a client's benefits portal. Deeper white-labeling scope varies by license tier.

How does the discount to our client work?

Your firm receives a discount that passes through to your employer clients, the platform costs less to them than a direct subscription. That structure keeps your firm on the right side of the fiduciary line: no conflicting economic interest with the platform vendor, since your firm never marks it up.

Do we still own the client relationship?

Yes. This is a channel-partner model. You lead strategy, you own the client, you deliver the tool. Simple Healthcare powers the analytics underneath and stays out of the client conversation unless you invite us in.

Does licensing put us in conflict with carrier relationships?

No. We take no commissions and no overrides, so the platform stays independent from carriers. That doesn’t disrupt your carrier partnerships. It reads the market and helps you place business more defensibly. Your carrier appointments and commissions stay untouched.

What's involved in getting licensed?

Start with a call with our channel team to size the license to your firm. From there: contract, producer onboarding, and access provisioning. Most firms are delivering to clients within four to six weeks.

Do our producers need training?

Yes, but it's light. Onboarding, a methodology walkthrough, and ongoing technical support are included with every license. The tool is designed so producers can deliver on day one, not month six.
